Practical guidance

Technology underpins many of the market shifts happening today. The Internet has made instant communication and commerce possible, crossing country boundaries. Cloud services have enabled companies to quickly adopt technology without having to ship and install hardware. Now AI is changing how we obtain images, deliver education, interact with customers, and more. Boardrooms have to be able to make decisions about technology in order to direct and oversee our most important companies, big and small, and yet many do not have professional technology experience themselves.

Far Phase provides Boards with the critical knowledge about technologies such as Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Virtual Reality, so that Board members can ask relevant questions, understand the answers, and oversee the consequent organisational direction.

Board Training Session

Far Phase provides a tailored session with Board members on a specific technology topic, informed by a pre-session survey. This is best-suited to an annual strategy day, or can be incorporated into an extended Board meeting. Optionally, this can be provided on an ongoing basis under a retainer arrangement.

Board Paper Development

Far Phase will work with a leader within the organisation, such as a CIO or CTO, and their team to develop a Board paper that provides a highly contextualised view on a specific technology, and its relevance to that organisation.

Technology FITNESS ASSESSMENT

Far Phase will work with a leader within the organisation, such as a CIO or CTO, and their team to identify issues or unmet opportunities that can be addressed by a specific technology.

Technology Provider Selection

Far Phase will work with a leader within the organisation, such as a CIO or CTO, and their team to design and implement a process for selecting a technology provider to support the organisation on issues arising from a specific technology.

Deep Expertise in Technology Shifts and Strategy

We can cut through the jargon and ensure that Board members can understand what the latest technologies truly mean for their organisations
